Wives of deployed military personnel have their own challenges…read on.

Deployment has a profound impact on the wives of military personnel. Researcher Beth Easterling and colleagues identified three stages of deployment (pre-deployment, deployment, and reunion) and the unique challenges for military wives and children left behind. Using survey data from over 200 wives of current or past military men who had been through at least one deployment, Easterling found that the actual deployment was the most difficult stage of deployment and talking with fellow military wives was the most helpful strategy for coping with the challenges. Coping with deployment may be difficult.  Consider Skype Therapy as an option.
